Stroll downtown Naperville on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Naperville's Party on the Parkway.

You'll enjoy the culinary taste sensations from Naperville's top restaurants as you visit the participating businesses that have balloons outside their door starting on the corner of Main Street and Jefferson Avenue, heading east to Washington and north on Washington. Valet parking offered by PRK Parking.

This is a benefit for Bridge Communities, a nonprofit that helps more than 100 DuPage families facing homelessness find housing and self-sufficiency every year.

It will begin with registration at Filson Men's Clothier (41 W. Jefferson Ave.), and you will also meet two other businesses: Barber Haus, a men's barber salon, and Mooney & Lyons, financial advisers.

There is a suggested charity donation of $30 per person. Visitors will receive a passport and event program. The culinary treat is sushi from Shinto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Lounge.

Then stroll the second-floor penthouse of Emily Cummings Photography and Studio 25 (25 W. Jefferson Ave.) This photographers venue offers space for private gatherings and meet several businesses including Pottery Bayou, Face Foundries, and PRK Parking. Feast on Paris Bistro's French appetizer Brie & Fig Tartines.

The third location is the popular Cold Stone Creamery (23 W. Jefferson Ave.) where you can indulge in some creative ice cream taste sensations and visit businesses that relate to both physical and mental child development.

They have a special treat -- hosting the Home & Garden Showcase at Ellce Designs & Ellce Home (21 W. Jefferson Ave.) featuring home and garden businesses including Coldwell Banker, Springrock Restoration, Budget Appliances, Naperville Roofing and Construction, Allure Design Culture and more. Enjoy the classic Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and their signature martini "The Knockout," infused with fresh golden pineapple from Sullivan's Steakhouse.

One more treat -- hosting the Health and Wellness Showcase at Front Street Cantina (15 W. Jefferson Ave.), and enjoy guacamole, salsa, chips and their famous Margaritas while visiting with health and wellness professionals including Naperville's top chiropractor, Advanced Wellness of Main Street, The Now Massage and putt on the patio with The Golf House.

On to downtown Naperville's favorite game store, Treasures (121 S. Washington St.) also meet Code Ninja's while enjoying a specialty from Lazy Dog Restaurants -- a candied bacon appetizer.

And, the last stop is at MOD Pizza (103 S. Washington St.) where you can enjoy some cheesy garlic bread, nonalcoholic beer by Go Brewing or a cup of specialty flavorful coffees by Java Plus Coffee & Tea Aurora.

There will be a silent auction at MOD Pizza with bidding starting at half the price.
